In the year 1950 to 1980 there were 10 to 12 Guards and one Security Officer. The duty was to look after the Sansthan’s property. At that time the rounds were also taken around the Samadhi Mandir, Gurusthan Mandir, Dwarkamai, Chawadi, Keshav Mandir, Bhakta Niwas Lendi Baug and the main road next to the Mandir. At that period the near about 700 to 800 Sai Devotees were visits daily to have darshan of Lord Srhi Sai Baba. On Thursday & Sunday it was nearly about 1000 to 1200.
After 1980 there was increase in the number of Sai Devotees day by day. In order to give facility to the Devotees Accommodation and Prasadalaya buildings were built. As per the requirements the number of guards has being increased day by day. Exact status of employees in this department is given below:

In addtion to Sasnsthan's permanent security staff. Two Secuirty agencies has benn appointed on the contract basis. The Sansthan security staff is posted in temple complex. M/s. Super Protection Services, Mumbai has been given all temples, Prasadalaya, Mangal Karyalaya, Saiprasad and Saiudyan buildings area. M/s.United Services, Pune has been given Bhaktaniwas, Educational Complex, Officers' quarters, Hospital, Dharmashala and water supply tank area.
