Shirdi is a holy
place. Devotees from all the places come to
worship Shri Saibaba and they use to stay in
Shirdi for a day or more.
 In
the South-West area of the Temple Complex, there is Garden
called ‘Lendi baug’. Baba had planted
here some plants and he used to water them. In Sai
Charitra we may read Baba's love and affection
towards the Trees. The Peepal and Neem
treees are till there in Lendi Baug,
which were planted by Lord Saibaba himself.
Baba used to nurse the patient, Serve food to
hungry people, in the same way he had great
love for trees. He planted many trees. There is a well in this
'baug'. This well is said to have been dug by Baba
with the help of the then devotees. Baba used to
consume water of this well and also water the plants
. Now a days this 'baug' is renewed
with added beauity.
(01) Garden
at Water Tank:
Sansthan water storage system to supply drinking water
is
near Kankuri Village, just 3 Kms away on
west side of Mandir Premises. Here eight hundred
coconut palm and nearly 130 mango trees are planted
. Vegetable cultivation is also done successfully
for
supply to the Prasadalaya.
(02) Garden at Bhakta Niwas:
The Lawn & water fountain system developed
in the
new Bhakta Niwas Building is the small tension & stress releasing center
for devotee's.
(03) Nursery :
The seedlings are prepared in the Sansthan by using
scientific methods. For this purpose different type of
mother plants are planted here. A rose
garden is cultivated very carefully. Sanshtan has
opened sales counter for these plants near
Rose garden and near the North gate of Temple. Devotees can
get ornamental plants various flowers, vegetables
here at affordable price. Three
particularly developed green houses are supporting
the commercial supply of varies floriculture
plants on the sale counter.
(04)Cactus House :
Well planned cactus houses and green houses are developed behind New Bhakta Niwas Building
in the Rose garden . Various cacti are cultvated here like Golden ball, Verygatted Ball, Bluestrus, Astofirem,
Turocactus, Harids, Kristed etc. The devotees can visit the house and
even may buy the cactus saplings.
(05) Children Park :
In the Educational complex a beautiful children park is developed. Huge water fountain in
center with harmoneous combination of game
equipments & flouri cultural landscaping adds to
the beauity of the Education Complex. In the park see- saw slider, spider shape slider double house- slider double swing single swing quizzer semi circular climber etc
.game equipments are installed & maintained
properly.
(06) Rose Garden :
In rose nursery
various types of rose saplings are
cultivated. There are almost hundred of rose saplings
in 14 different colors grown in this
garden, This is major relaxing center for
devotees.
Garden department is
self sufficient in skilled man power, innovative
ideas and technology to impliment them. Excellent
team work and dedication has lead this newly born
department to self supportiveness & one of the major
productive department of Sansthan. It has
self sustainance, not only in flouriculture but
also in the horticulture & vegetable gardening.
Since two years this department is catering the
substantial part of vegetable needs in our
prasadalaya by supplying fresh leaf & fruit vegetables. It is also fulfilling
the demands for nursery products for flouriculture
in service of visiting Sai devotees at quite
affordable rates.
Since two years this department is supplying fresh
heavenly beautiful flowers in daily service
to Baba & also the occassional beauitification of
the Mandir complex at the time of festival & other
special ceremonies.
